Sony unveils an LED light bulb with a built-in bluetooth speaker

Amazing tech innovations just keeps springing up recently, since the tech world has been facing considerable competition, with the likes of Samsung, Apple, Google etc you can't but wonder why every tech giant wants to stay relevant nowadays.

Yesterday Japan's Tech giant, Sony unveiled a Lights and music combination LED Light Bulb Speaker in Japan, a Bluetooth speaker that screws into a light fitting to give your living space the gift of simultaneous sight and sound.

Users can take full control of the 360-lumen bulb with a smartphone app, of course, allowing for fine control of brightness and volume and there's also a dedicated remote that can be paired over NFC. In a released press statement, Sony touted the speaker's compact, attractive design and says that it lets users play music in places where it's been difficult to put audio equipment before.

I can't quite quantify how this would impact the lives of music lovers worldwide. What's your take on this? Watch this amazing promo video below...
