Overtaking a truck has always been a potentially lethal challenge for motorists on our roads, but that could change soon as South Korean tech giant Samsung, launched a life-saving solution - a see-through trailer which shows drivers the road ahead.
This amazing Safety Truck which was unveiled yesterday by Samsung has a camera fitted to its front which sends real time footage to a screen on the back of the vehicle.
Samsung claims its technology would help reduce fatal or ghastly road accidents or deaths.
"So far Samsung has confirmed that the technology works effectively and that this idea can definitely save the lives of many people," a spokesman said.
This new technology is being tested in Argentina, a country where one person dies on the road every hour according to statistics.
Although Samsung says there are no plans yet to roll them out in other parts of the world, we may soon witness demands for this Samsung's technology.
This particular technology will be most suitable for countries like Nigeria with one-lane roads as it assists drivers to easily see what is ahead before overtaking trucks. Watch the video demonstration below...
