Apple releases watchOS 2 operating system for its wearables


Apple's second version watchOS 2 for its smartwatch was proposed to come out alongside iOS 9 five days ago, but the Company said an unnamed bug delayed its release.

The new release tagged watchOS 2 has now began rolling out. The new wearable comes with a loads of new things built-in, the most important or notable thing about the wearable is that apps can run natively, i.e they are able to load faster and come with more features. The pre-loaded Apps are now able to use the the digital crown, heart rate sensor, speaker microphone, accelerometer and Taptic engine.



There are numerous new watch faces for watchOS2 to choose from. Also added to the new update is the Nightstand mode for when you are not wearing the watch on your wrist, and also ability to reply to emails with the gadget. Ability to ask Siri more complex tasks or things like looking up a word in the dictionary for you.

Furthermore, users can now add multiple Friends screens each of which can hold up to 12 contacts. Get transit information on his/her wrist and use more cards with Apple Pay. Added for security is the Activation Lock which helps users in-case their Apple Watch gets stolen, and switching the digital crown puts you in Time Travel mode.
