Skype 6.0 update - redesigned for iPhone, iPad and Android

Microsoft has released an update for its video calling platform - Skype 6.0 version for Android, Iphone and Ipad users. This updated release features a new optimized design for both Android and IOS operating systems.



With its Android version having a floating action button that allows incredibly simple to start conversation, whether you’re starting a video call, chat, audio call or sending a video message. This new release has an upgraded search, where you can now find your most important contacts and conversations much faster and easier. Furthermore users now can easily see how many unread messages he/she has, as its easier to identify what you’ve read and what you haven’t now.

Similarly for its IOS version, users can expect simpler and familiar navigation that gets you to your conversations fast. With Skype 6.0 users can use swipe gestures to quickly make calls and easily manage his/her messages. It is now easier to find things in Skype. Users can simply use the new recent tab to search your messages and find contacts and groups.

We’ve made messaging on Skype for iPad a whole lot better – you can share your location, send large emoticons, see web link previews and easily send and receive photos.
