Non registered users can now join Skype conversations by clicking a unique link

Skype can now be used by a non-registered user, the Microsoft-owned service made this known by introducing a new feature that makes this possible. Individuals who do have a Skype account can now begin a conversation and then share a unique link to it. For every conversation a unique link is given, and the individuals who are sent such a link can join it and chat even if they're not Skype registered users by just clicking the link. This feature presently works for guests through Skype for Web on computers.

Users inviting others to conversations through these unique links can do so from Skype for Mac, Skype for Web and Skype for Windows. The feature is presently limited to the US and UK. Guests have the opportunity to join conversations from Skype for iPad, iPhone, and Android, but only if they already have an account.

The Company says it's working hard to roll out this feature to the rest of the world too, and could happen over the next two weeks. Also the ability to start a conversation and share a link to Skype from mobile devices is coming soon. Watch the official video below
