New version of Skype for Android now remembers your log-in details

A new version (version 5.5) has been released by Microsoft for its Skype Android platform.  This new Android version update now remembers users log-in details, easing the stress of signing back in. Users now only need to just tap on the arrow as seen in the image below...

Although, if a user still wants the old method where the app requests for password every time he/she signs in, all you have to do is to tap on the menu icon '---' > Settings and look for the desired option under the Privacy section.

Furthermore, Microsoft stated that the web link preview feature will also be added to app, allowing users to see a preview of the content before they open a web link. The Company says feature will be released in the next few weeks.

Users can download the update from Playstore

With many social networking sites now offering video calls, i still wonder if people still use Skype. Do you use Skype?
